It takes a real man to be handed a demotion and to still have the attitude to go out there and play your best. Any other player probaly would of demanded to be traded.

I was suprised to see he is so close to the all time sack record. I think he will shine this year in his new role.

Yeah I didn't know that either, and yes I hope he fits into his new role and becomes a weapon for the pack.

He was always at his best as a "pass rushing specialist", with our new young D-line and the animals we have at linebacker, I believe KGB will be getting more playing time than he thinks.
Hopefully the opposing O will be in pass mode on more than just 3rd and long situations.
Great move on The Packs part, the money has already been allocated and put in the budget, IMHO KGB might be on the trading block but I don't see anyone out there who will be as good as him in pass rushing situations.

Keep him and let him shine at what he does best.

Maybe KGB will shine in this role... or maybe they could slide him outside and rush from an upright position utilizing his speed even more.

That would probably help. He doesn't have the weight to power rush like White did.

    Wow I love this.

Team\Coaches doing what they have to do to win.
Player accepting it and doing his part to win.

For alot of today's prima donna players, it is!
Most today would whine and throw a fit for being "dissed".

You know what? HIs comment about him being the employee and his bosses being the employer is right on. The truth is that is the way the world works. Players can complain about it, bitch about it, and fight it, but it's the way the world works. It's never going to change. KGB doesn't have any choice in the decisions they make. The only thing he can control is how well he plays. The bad thing for KGB is that he has always been a quality 3rd down pass rusher, but he's never been a quality every down player. He was miscast by Mike Sherman. KGB will always give his best effort no matter what. He's a class act guy.

KGB is a class act. He shows up to the OTAs and is willing to earn his contract. I hope he will have great success in his new role.
