He fits a lot of the indicators for a Packers' first round pick-- he is a great athlete at a premium position, he has gobs of production, he reportedly possesses very high character, he was a senior bowl standout, and he didn't have a top 30 visit (that we know of). The only way in which he doesn't fit is size, at 6'2" 248#, but his arms are 34" long and his wingspan is 6'11". The Packers will know everything they need to about him as a person via Hafley and Oghobaase.

2.54-- Alfred Collins, DT, Texas: Green Bay keeps the DL train rolling. He has the potential to immediately replace Slaton's production on defense and the ceiling is much higher in the long term.

3.87-- Tory Horton, WR, Colorado State: There is so much about Horton that commends itself to me. I think Horton is probably a 4.3 athlete with elite COD, based on his gaudy punt return production. What I love about his fit is that I think he could replace some of Watson's vertical role while also having the skills to step into Doubs' or Wicks' spots in time. He is very sure-handed. He's nearly 6'3", 195 lbs and he ran a 4.30 with a 1.49 split, jumped nearly 11', and had a 6.71 three cone. Plus his tape, what there is, is good!
This will be my final stab at the Packers' plans for the weekend. I think they'll come by another pick or two, but for now I am going to just project the existing eight: 1.23-- Donovan Ezeiruaku, DE, Boston College: Hafley's tree is all about pass rush. Ezeiruaku isn't the typical Packers' type at DE, but he also would fill a niche as a speed-rush/sack artist that they're currently missing. When you have a lot of big base ends on the roster, it frees you up to take the guy who specializes in getting the QB on the ground.
