Well it's an A Rodgers as well.

Amari Rodgers, WR, Clemson
Height: 5-10. Weight: 210.
Projected 40 Time: 4.57.
Projected Round (2021): 4-6.
View Ranking History
4/26/21: Rodgers played well for Clemson in 2020. He could be a slot receiver candidate for the NFL, but he has limitations with size and speed for the next level.

8/29/20: Rodgers has a running back's build and could be a slot receiver candidate for the NFL. He has the potential to rise in 2020 if he becomes the featured receiver with Justyn Ross out for the season. Rodgers has a lot of experience, but Clemson is always deep at receiver, so he will have to earn his targets.

The Packers finally go get a wide receiver and Aaron Rodgers might not even be the one throwing him the ball. Sounds about right.

Must have really liked him to move up. There was:

Nico Collins
Sage Surette
Schwartz
Wallace
St. Brown

Are all about the same level (or so I thought)

Every one knows I'm ecstatic I'd said multiple times Amari is the one shorter slot that I love because his build. I'll find my past man crush posts on him and insert when I get home

another benefits is that when all the drunk fans sober up after the draft they will still see A Rodgers listed on the roster and never know we traded our future HOF QB

I had Amari as my #7 WR overall and #4 slot. I liked nothing about Sage Suratt. I honestly would not be suprised if he goes undrafted. Nico Collins and Wallace I would have comparable to Amari. Schwartz feels one dimensional and more of a specialist. St. Brown is good, but I would say next tier.

Slot receiver with motion/rushing ability and ST value. This was the type they were missing. He’s off-brand athletically (5.37 RAS) which indicates they must really love his game. Should have roles on offense and ST right away.

I'm all over the place on this. We traded up for the guy and give up a 4th. Love his big game experience, love that he is part of what made Trevor Lawrence the #1 pick. Here's the thing. We traded up and didn't get Anthony Schwartz the fastest WR in the draft. I'm gonna trust Gutey here that he knows something I don't.

RAS is below average for what the Packers traditionally go with...but when in doubt, always go back to the tape. His tape is electric. I think he is a late first/early 2nd grade, but that ACL injury made him fall into the 3rd.

As an athletic trainer myself, they do need to be careful with him. There is an increased likelihood of tearing the opposite ACL a few years after recovering from an ACL recon.

I think they were afraid Minnesota was about to draft him.

Amari on Green Bay (pre-draft).....

“I’d definitely see myself as a Randall Cobb type player, being used in the slot, jet sweeps and the return game, as well,” Rodgers said. “Ever since Randall left, they haven't had a guy like that for real. I haven’t seen one. So just being able to bring my game to that offense, I feel like it would be special just to see and work with a well-known player like Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers, two vets that have a lot of experience and have competed at the highest level. I would love to go and learn from those guys, that would be pretty special.”

Good pick Poker. I also had the player, but missed the round. Very Happy with this player. He fits a nitch that we’ve been missing since Cobb went to Dallas.

here’s another look at him...
