For some reason this team really didn't play well in this bubble situation compared the regular season before COVID struck. They went thru stretches in these games where they couldn't buy a basket. A lot of folks think Giannis needs to develop a jump shot but IMO he needs to be better at the line. He is great at getting fouled but what good is it if he only makes half his free throws?

The Bubble was not friendly to the Bucks, but I think they were even in trouble before the season was interrupted. They had several games in March that they just looked off. Their once deep bench play also seemed to decline. There were several players that didn't even play in the Miami series. Bledsoe and George Hill did not look like themselves against the Heat or in the bubble.

If they can keep Giannis, they need to get one more really solid starter. Using hindsight, I wish they would have let Bledsoe walk and kept Brogdon. Maybe if they dump Mathews and can sign a legit outside shooting guard, teams wouldn't be able to collapse 2-3 guys in all the time on Giannis? Problem is, much like every sport, revenues were way down and that means the cap and spending will be tight next season.
