1. It all started with Morgan Burnett's interception and him going right to the ground. Why did he not run? He could have gotten 20-30 yards and maybe into field goal range.
2. The onside kick, Bostick was a blocker on that play. He should have let Jordy catch it.
3. The 2-point conversion-Clinton-Dix had time to knock that ball down. Crosby's field goal would have won the game instead of tied it.

If any of these plays were avoided, Packers would have won this game.

Zero killer instinct. I blame McCarthy for that

The Bostick play did not kill the Packers.

Let's assume Jordy actually recovers the onside kick. At that point, Seattle still has the 2 minute warning and 3 timeouts. MM calls 3 runs for sure, and the Packers have to punt. Seattle goes down the field and scores to take a 22-19 lead with maybe 20 seconds left. The Packers don't have enough time to drive into FG range.

Seattle had already used two of their timeouts.

You can't say that would happen because you have no clue. Just because it happened after Seattle recovers the onside kick doesn't mean it would happen if the Packers recovered the onside kick. When Seattle recovered, you could tell the entire momentum shifted absolutely, 100%. The fans were into it, the players were into it. And the Packers were playing scared. You could feel it sitting on the couch. If the Packers recover the ball, maybe McCarthy calls different plays, maybe since Seattle doesn't have as much momentum and the fans aren't as into it a different outcome happens. Who the hell knows. All I know is that as a TE Bostick is supposed to have hands and when he decided to go up and make a play on the ball and let a floating ball fall right through his hands, that play was absolutely on him, 100%.

Out of the clear blue western skies...
Seattle played as though their hair was on fire. Green Bay did not match their bold intensity at any time beginning with the moment of Burnett's submission, except for at least one notable play. Bostick's stupid act of defiance was actually an act of commission, not submission. He disobeyed orders to block by attempting to recover the ball. How ironic is that?

Nope. Seattle only had 1 timeout left at that point.

The Bostick bashing is getting over the top. He was THE FINAL NAIL in the coffin WE built for ourselves. If you ask me to list the Top 5 mistakes, we made that contributed to the loss... it'll be:

5) Not going for the TD early in the game.
4) Bostick botch job
3) HHCD ball watchin during the 2 point conversion.
2) Burnett slide without returning the ball back.
1) Offence inept play in returning the ball within a minute without running down the clock. (Post Burnett slide)

3 individual errors and 2 strategy errors.

Points 1 & 2 were really horrible and wanton throwing away the game due to inept strategy. Beats individual errors hands down.

Not going to disagree with any of this. However, Seattle was dead in the water and kicking a FG to get the score to 16-3 more than 1/2 way through the 3rd quarter.

That fake field goal TD got the crowd and team back into the game. The FG would have been meh. That was a huge, huge difference in the game and not just because of the additional 4 points.

yup...as much as I want to blame the last 5 minutes this fake FG was a pivotal point. to put it in an analogy: seahawks broke down packer's defense and invaded it's castle to over take it(which happened in the last 5 minutes).

The fake should have been expected, as it was the right call for Seattle. They hadn't done anything on offense the whole game, so why not fake it? And if they failed, their D would have stopped the Packers O anyway, as their D had stopped the Packers O the whole game.

Absolutely correct!

The Hawks scored too quickly. They screwed the pooch by not using up more clock. Stupid clock management.

McCarthy didn't tell Bostick to not block. He didn't cause C-D to have a brain fart. He didn't tell Burnett to slide.

FG would have made it a 2 possession game, so expecting the FG was completely rational and reasonable.

I believe HHCD standing flat-footed on the 2 pt conversion was the final nail.
