2026 Training Camp - Preseason Observations

He did ok considering that change, but having an entire offseason to learn the nuances of Center is likely to make a noticeable difference for any player imo.</p><p></p><p>Anthony “pancake” Belton is talented, but he got 6 Starts to learn RG as a Rookie. He played in 9 games but 95 snaps were at RT, LT. Thats a lot of movement for a young player. Plus not even his natural position as “Escalade” played Tackle all through college.</p><p></p><p> We’ve got to give guys more than 6 or 7 games at a position in a career before we condemn them. You don’t just keep switching players like a turntable, continuity is a big part at OL. We’re involved with 3 additional OL draft picks in 2026 + 4th (Morgan) as a presumed Starter.</p><p></p><p>RD5 Monk has been filling LG1</p><p>RD5 Burton both Guard spots</p><p>RD6 Glover</p><p>RD7 Williams</p><p></p><p>Plus Burton has been one of the more impressive Rookies early in, so I’m not sure where you’re getting the information that we’re so suspect. Defenses almost always start faster in the first week. </p><p>Once that O gets rhythm they’ll even the score.</p></blockquote><p></p>
