[QUOTE="tynimiller, post: 1094658, member: 6578"] I personally was curious if Gute would gravitate to Height due to his age...glad to see us bringing him in for a visit. Height is a guy that I actually think has first round level tape truly at times. Another issue beyond he is an old prospect was his arm length is quite sub-par and yes, that can be an issue for edges....BUT....BUT....Height uses his length well - don't confuse the two things. For a guy with shorter arms your technique and timing in hand usage has to be good and it is something he either has been naturally inclined to do or he's been coached up well and illustrates a willingness to attack a weakness. He does have significant injury history sustaining in 2022 a shoulder injury that ruinded that year for him. He then started a transfer streak that saw him in USC for 2023, Georgia Tech for 2024 and then Texas Tech in 2025...each year being a solid edge and then in 2025 he feasted as part of that massively talented Red Raider front in 2025. 24 sacks over the last three seasons...but more importantly he is a pressure machine with massive win percentage rates that are not normal (21.8% win rate per PFF). He doesn't play the rush well some would argue and there is validity to it but it isn't from a lack of discipline I think the style and calls in which TT gave him, he was very often a pin ears and go type guy and that leaves you prone for mistakes. He has however been a very consistent run graded defender at least to PFF (65.6 \ 65.2 \ 65.9) over the last three years which I see as a positive. I personally have Height as an edge we would have to use 52 on if we want him...as I don't think there is a world that should exist where he makes it to our third round pick...shoot I don't think he should make it to third personally.
