Wyatt had surgery and claimed 3-5 months earlier this year. I haven’t heard any news recently, but that would put him back at Camp already.

While it’s not quite as thick as last year at iDL in RD3-5, there are a number of guys that imo would offer better upside than Wooden switching positions. Even Wooden made a comment after the trade that he felt he wasn’t in his best position in 2025. I don’t think that’s some big secret.
9 picks and my guy is still on the board.

Very typical for the Packers to draft position where they have expiring contracts coming up

Packers traded into #77!! Who do they take? DT Chris McClellan.

Received #77, gave up #84 & #160.

Well he looks average on paper.

That 6'8" 330 pound DT/DE from ol miss wouldve been better..... That's the kind of guy who will reach up and blot out the sun....

Last time GB answered my dreams was Marshawn Lloyd. Hopefully that pick pays off this year finally. Yikes.

I didnt consider him as he seems more like 3T than a 1T. It looks like consensus and TYNI had him 123/124. Hope it did not cost much to move up.

Daniel Jeremiah had him #82 on his board, so not a reach for sure. I was listening to a Packer podcast this week. And he was brought up as a "Packers" pick. I took him in the Amish mocknin the 4th, had him in the 3rd prior. I'll take 3 more points though.

love Cisse in the 2nd, like but don’t love McClellan with our 3rd

Across the division, I’m huge on Banks’ upside but that’s a VERY risky pick for Minnesota imo. But outside of that I really like their draft overall

Detroit, I feel like they have kinda reached on both their picks

Chicago… a lot of folks like the Thieneman pick, and he is a good player, but imo they had much more pressing needs to address. Or maybe that’s not the right way of putting it. Safety was a big need. I think there was much better positional value that could’ve been addressed. Outside of that pick I think they’re having a shocking draft with a depth center, a 3rd TE, and a WR who most had given a 7th round or UDFA grade.

(And I should note those last three are all arguably reaches… on offense… when you already had a great offense but desperately needed help all around the defense)

We do have like 11 draft picks next year 8 of them between RD2-RD5. I liked the move up to #77, but thought it was Hurst or Dunker. I’d use a RD5 selection from 2027 and move up 1 more time. Preferable using #120 +RD5, 2027 to nail this next pick down.

That or #153 + 2027 RD5 to move up RB?

I just read we have 3x more 4th rounders , a 5th, and 3x , 6ths , beyond our 2-7th round picks.....

That's not including any picks we acquire this next year.

Quay walker, malik willis, doubs, and LT walker, enegbare... Traded wicks, and Gary.... That's a pretty big turn over. But honestly looking at the cap situation, combined with our massive list of free agents this year. They turned a pretty spooky situation into a seamless off-season. No rebuild needed.

Depending on how the board falls is there any point at which you take a flyer on Jermod McCoy? Or with Cisse is that all but off the table?

I think he should be in play at any point on day 3.... The question is does Gute feel that way. I think we need to draft one more CB tomorrow. I believe St Juste is the only CB on the roster, under contract after this year, not counting Cisse. Gute said in his presser they needed to add some bodies to that room... not a body.

I'd take McCoy next, unless his knee(s?) won't let him ever perform in the NFL. When else will Gute have a shot at a top-10-talent CB? Both Valentine & Nixon are FA in '27, need better talent in the pipeline.

I just watched an interview of someone talking about McCoy's injury. Eventually he is going to need another surgery, and he would miss a full year to have it done. Also, if it doesn't work, there's a good chance his career would be over. I guess this really puts in perspective why he hasn't been drafted.
