I don't think it's bad to be honest. I'm amazed at how they got this contract written. It's so Packer friendly that I'm stunned. When I initially heard the figures I thought it was a disaster. Now that the whole thing is laid out in front of us, I like it.I'm not saying you are right... but would that be bad for us?
It does seem confusing. In the back of my mind I almost believe that Parsons decided that he wanted to stick it to Jones and may have mentioned that he was willing to work with the Packers on a deal, but not anyone else. If it was anyone else, he was going to sit out at least part of the season to inflict maximum pain on the Jones operation.The three year structure is GOLD FOR GREEN BAY. I cannot believe how easy it is to part ways with him IF we want after three or could restructure/extend and be good too….stunned by the structure being so GB friendly
Whatever the reason, after I read the breakdown of the contract I was totally stunned at how well it works out for the Packers.
