Speaking of odd rules, IMO, the waiver wire is one of them. I realize that the NFL has a goal of competitive parity, but this one is a bit whacked.
I knew that the waiver claim order is basically "worst to best" teams, like the draft, I didn't realize that a team is able to claim multiple players ahead of the next team. This year the Texans were #1 in the claim order, they grabbed 4 guys that other teams waived, before anyone else had a shot at them.
