If Im Gutey I’m applying a slightly different methodology than usual. Those first 5-6 draft selections need to be more “polished” players (4 year starters, 5th year starters, less injury prone, high floor or more immediately translatable talent etc..). Then Day 3 go after the high ceiling, medium-longer term projects or package a few Day 3 selections and move up slightly in Day 2. I might even pass on my personal desires of Jonathan Brooks. I might even consider a slight trade up or two in the top 100 or trade a draft pick to go get a Deebo, impact type FA (not necessarily at WR). We don’t need 11 Rookies this draft, condense it to 8-9 players. We were very close to a SB this year. A lot Closer than id like to admit. I’m not interested in fighting for scraps at the table…We’ve got to think big (but smart) to finish big.I think had we beat SF in Santa Clara? we’d be playing next weekend.  We need to put the pedal down and start our Kick off the blocks early this year… like it’s 2009 all over again.</blockquote>
