A GM that just sits pat and waits for their turn to pick, probably isn't doing a complete job.  Gute and his draft team mimic a lot of what I see them doing all year long, looking for those small ways to improve the team, by bettering themselves with a quick trade or pickup.All in all, this "grading" of the actual drafts picks, before the draftees even get a team jockstrap assigned to them is just an exercise in masturbation by the media and football fans, but a popular one for sure.</blockquote>
