But wanting someone to be able to cover at tackle from guard, and using that as a criterion for a draft pick; isn't getting what you really need. Probably a step or a half step down. Most likely the same for the other way around. So I think we need another tackle and two on the inside is what we should draft. And I would go with better guard first (if available). If we have to carry an extra lineman; so be it. But these days it seems to be easier to protect someone on the reserve list. And also to bring them up for games when needed.</p></blockquote><p></p>
