I admittedly undervalued him more in that mid rd2 area and as a slight reach, but I was 100% wrong because I didn’t study him. I think myself and others are waaaay underestimating what he’s capable of IF we think Guard here. just my opinion early in. Very Bak ish and the fact he gets training in GB means his chances are very good as a starting LT.
The more I watch him and read up on him the more Morgan rises in my Top 2-3 best selections (factoring in where these guys get drafted). I think Morgan will be a Bonafide starting LT within ~2 seasons. They might might give him space to grow (similar to young Bak). Yet Jordan is not a 299lb guy coming in like David was. Bak was a Bonafide late Day2 selection (found with the 12 selection in Rd4) who had great upside, but was on the smaller side and was initially slated by many to move inside at G. The more I watch him? He's probably the OL prospect that most closely resembles the movement motion of David Bakhtiari. I am amazed at how similar they move in general. Weight distribution, slide movement , pop etc. That would be my projected comp for him. There are always nuances to clean up, but potential ceiling comp is 100% David Bakhtiari. Keep in mind Bak was undersized coming in and took a couple of seasons of weight room and polishing. The other point is Bak possessed an aggressive demeanor you can’t teach, that’s the only part left undetermined for me on Morgan is he going to finish guys off like Bak idk. Several sources had Jordan Morgan as the #1 OT (as far as long term ceiling). We’re not talking today, these are projections as “best in class” for a career as a Tackle.
