My duds for the draft were the Commish out there not making a pick but letting the Amazon Prime announcers get their commercial in---------and now a rock concert.

What the hell has happened to this draft that is turning into a circus!

What did we get in the trade. 179 and 234. We own the 7th round.

Looks like the Packers made a trade with the Broncos out of the 171 position. Did they finally pull the trigger on the Rodgers trade?

Picked up the last of the 5th and an additional seventh not a bad trade at all.

So in a draft where it was important to collect mid round picks, I don’t understand moving two 2nd round picks and accumulating four 7th round picks… what are we going to do with so many 7th round picks?

I'm guessing that we pick up guys for development on our roster, probably guys that will compete for depth or ST play in year one.

I'm no prophet though, guess we will see if they use them on picks. LOL

I view 7th rounders as a way to guarantee yourself high priority UDFA's. If you don't draft them, they can sign with any team that makes them an offer. The draft pick locks them in.

Eh, we should have been trying to move up and eliminate picks if anything. We can’t hold all these picks anyway, might as well prioritize 5th round talent. 7th round picks are basically udfa anyway.

A lot of the “analysts” have been saying things like how the extra Covid-year has pushed a lot of players down too, so that there’s 2nd or 3rd round graded players available in the 4th or 5th or so.

Don’t know how true that is, but I’d think if that’s it’d then stand to reason that perhaps they feel like there will be some 5th round grades or so available in the 7th, too.

My 7th round likes. Some would have to fall and others to guarantee them instead of UDFA.

I think last years winner only had 3 correct. Still time to have another picked out of the 4 7th rounders.

Jaylen Watson still out there that I love at all over the DB area…Castro Fields was my favorite CB but he just went.

I see most depth at LB and some real potential DB or S.

McKinley could be good but really like O’Neal from A&M
