The reports say that the split with Sitton was amicable. So in my mind I play out this scenario. Sitton wanted more for his extension than the Pack were willing to give. So the Pack says, this much and no more. Sitton says; I'm gonna test the market. The Pack says; Go ahead. It may benefit you. So essentially Green Bay is giving him the chance to earn more money than they would have paid him for one or two more serviceable years. I think it stinks, but it is business and in a twisted kind of way, benefits Sitton.</p></blockquote><p></p>
