Im not a big fan of the combine. I think it is a dog and pony show. It should be done in FULL pads and gear, to simulate what a player can do in game situations. Wearing compression shirts and shorts and high tech running shoes makes you look better than u are in full gear.

The combine is really more of a qualifier to estimate how well a prospect's on field game will project to the NFL. It is however over hyped as gym rats who pull warrior workout scores get overblown because they do these drills every day like it's their olympics. See: Margus Hunt
