Since no one has taking the 3rd pick ill take that too

3- Cleveland- RB Adrian Peterson OK the Browns select "All Day" with this pick because up until Ruben Droughns the Browns havent had a 1000 yard rusher in a long long time. With Ruben getting up in age and really because he isnt anything special the browns take a franchise back in Adrian Peterson

4th--Tampa Bay Buccs...OT Joe Thomas from Wisconsin...Best O-line prospect in the draft by far, I've seen him go earlier in other mocks, but may fall if Russell comes out...the Bucs' o-line is horrendous, one QB lost his spleen and theyre lucky 1 or 2 more didn't as well...

5th-AZ theyll be pretty bummed that they missed out on joe thomas and if the draft does fall this way they would probably move down with minnesota or miami since quinn is still available but the pick here will be Larry Branch DT Michigan

Washington needs more pass rush and help on the defensive line.
They wanted Branch

What is available are DE's Adam Gaines or Quinten Moses. They are KGB size and a bit small. Risky.

Yet they select

DE Gaines Adam

With the 9th overall pick, the Miami Dolphins select Brady Quinn. Dolphins have never had the franchise QB since Marino left, and now is their chance to settle their QB position. Quinn has the talent to be a great one, and having been taught by CW will do nothing but help out at the next level.

The Falcons really need an upgrade of Grady Jackson at NT in their 3-4.
With coaching change do they continue the 3-4. No DT is rated this high so they may attempt a trade down. They do need Secondary help as well so why not the first CB off the board.

With the 11th overall pick, 49ers take CB Antoine Cason. They have Spencer at CB, and then not much else. This is a desperation pick, but Cason has proved since his freshman year that he can come in and play with the big boys.

With the 13th pick the Rams take Quentin Moses from Georgia...he's a Kiwanuka-type pick from last year, huge upside but desire always comes into question, plus the Rams have nobody opposite Leonard Little...a steal considering I've seen Moses go as high as #6 already

With the 14th pick the Panthers take Patrick Willis from Ole Miss. Dan Morgan simply cant stay healthy for 16 games so Carolina plucks for Willis, the outstanding MLB prospect in the 2007 Draft

I'll jump in, do the Steelers a huge favor and draft LB Paul Posluszny from Penn State...tremendous knowledge of X's and O's...great closing speed, he'll get to the QB from any position in the 3-4, I think he projects as an inside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme...best linebacker in the draft...it was a priviledge to watch Poz play the last four years

I was going to go OL for Pittsburgh but I'm not sure that Levi Brown, etc. is worth the 15th pick, maybe in reality the Steelers trade down...Haggans, Farrior and Porter are all getting up in years, this makes sense

The Draft Order
1- Oakland- Calvin Johnson WR Georgia Tech
2- Detroit- JaMarcus Russell QB LSU
3- Cleveland- Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma

With the 17th overall selection, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Safety Michael Griffin from Texas. Despite having a stocked defense the Jags arent so concrete at the Saftey position due to age and depth concerns. I was tempted to select QB Brian Brohm here from Lousiville as a starter down the road but as he has yet to declare Im going with Griffin an athletic and explosive playmaker.

Screw Lynch.

WR - Dwayne Jarrett - USC

That's where its at!

Brett needs help at WR and even if he don't play, Rodgers will DEFINETELY need the help.
