17th. And last year was the 96th. Who says they have to be in a row?

2014 AmishMafia 13 pts https://www.packerforum.com/threads/the-96th-annual-amish-mafia-draft-contest.59575/
2013 Rodell330 13pts https://www.packerforum.com/threads/draft-contest.51325/

How it works:

Supply 20 names of players and the round the Packers may take them.

Rules:
Select a total of 20 Players
Pick at least 1 player per round
List their name and position.

Correct Player: 3 pts
Correct Player in Correct Round: 3 PLUS the round number pts

Therefore if you go:

Round-Player
1 - Bob wr
1 - Mack pk
2 - Steve te
2 - Ed olb
3 – Chuck wr
4 - Marty s
5 - Pete s

And the Packers draft Ed in the 3rd and Pete in the 5th, your points would be:

Ed (correct player) 3 pts
Pete (correct Player in Round 5) 3 + 5 = 8 pts
11 pts total

TIP: with 3 picks in the 4th, I think I am going heavy on players in the 4th

Great contest. One that I am incredibly terrible at. Not sure if I've ever scored any points.

TIP: Everyone should review my list when it comes out and immediately edit your own by removing names that show up on mine.

Is it permissible to list a particular player more than once in different rounds?

List 19 players and 1 player a 2nd time in another round? I suppose thats fine, but it seems to me that would reduce your opportunities.
I don't know if I'd do it, or if I'll participate at all at this point.

But let's say, for whatever reason, you've got a good feeling about a particular player but are uncertain as to the round. 3rd. or 4th? 4th. or 5th? Increasing the odds of identifying the correct round to earn the bonus points might be worth the risk of forgoing a low confidence 20th. name.

I would assume if one were to name a guy twice, only 3 base points would be awarded for getting the player right; not 6 for having his name appear on the list twice.

Yes, that would be correct. Else you could list the same player 20x. If you hit, you win. But that doesn't really follow with the spirit of the contest.

Following the spirit of the rules as opposed to the letter of the law typically leads to 2nd place.

This is my year.
1st Ragland.... Bama
1st Andrew Billings. 6'1" 311 DT Baylor. Billings/Daniels would be dominant DE duo. IMO.
1st Nkemdiche DT 6'3' 294 Ol Miss. I love his potential.
1st Jarran Reed DT Alabama. 6'3 307. Another favorite of mine that would collapse the pocket.
1st Vernon Butler 6'4" 323 Lous tech. Raji replacment.
2nd Jason Spriggs. here is your 300 pound TE who seals the deal on blocking. and still can catch... I love the move.
2nd Kenny Clark, DT UCLA 6'3" 314 he was a HS state wrestling champ... one of my favorite prospects.
2nd Joshua Perry olb ohio st, 6'4" 254. would play ILB for us.
2nd Le Raven Clark. OT, Texas Tech 6'5" 316. A real back up OT .
3rd RB Alex Collins Arkansas. 5'10" 217. Determination runner. Solid quality runner to back up Lacy some day
3rd Keyarris Garrett WR Tulsa. 6'3" 220. He will be able to play outside... well...
3rd Javon Hargrave DT SC st, 6'1" 309. A bowling ball who reminds me of Daniels a lot.
4th Spencer Drango OG Baylor. 6'6" 315. Need to stock up on OGs.
4th Joe Schobert, OLB Wisconsin. 6'1" 244. He will be ILB for us.
4th Matt Judon DE Grand Valley St. 6'3" 275. OLB depth project player.
4thScooby Wright ILB AZ 6' 239 Might as well throw a ILB in the 4th.
4th Yannick Ngakoue OLB Marryland 6'2" 252. Another ILB prospect.
5th Punter Tom Hackett. TRhis should end the 30 yd punt trend.
6thDeAndre Washington. RB Texas Tech 5.8" 204. We will like this one...
7th Marshaun Coprich, RB Illinois st. 5'8" 207. 4241 yds rushing, 50 TDs, last TWO seasons only!

For all the crazy stuff you propose on a regular basis, that's a surprisingly respectable effort.

Willie Beavers is getting a lot of play. Maybe I should jinx all of you and put him on my list
I may do the same, which would be a double jinx. Seriously, though, this Ohio State tape looks pretty bad:

You must be logged in to see this image or video!

The fact he did only 20 lifts at the Combine shows up here. A lot of technique work to do. Not a 2016 player, that's for sure.
