Rob Demovsky has put together a little history of these two draft slots over the past few years. Some pretty good players in there. And... except for Randall, the players at #30 aren’t a huge drop off from #12.

2018: DT Vita Vea (No. 12), CB Mike Hughes (30)
2017: QB DeShaun Watson (12), OLB T.J. Watt (30)
2016: DT Sheldon Rankins (12), DT Vernon Butler (30)
2015: DT Danny Shelton (12), DB Damarious Randall (30)
2014: WR Odell Beckham Jr. (12), CB Jimmie Ward (30)

Hopefully Gute can ring that bell and bring home two impactful starters.

Randall a big dropoff from Danny Shelton? Its unfortunate that he didnt become a cornerstone for our defense, but the dude is definitely talented by all means. I am very excited about the draft though, surely we cant miss on both first rounders.
