1. MEET RANDY MOSS
Oct. 5, 1998: Randy Moss, in a Monday night game in his rookie season, has five receptions for 190 yards and two touchdowns -- and has a 75-yarder called back because of a penalty -- as the Vikings win 37-24. The Packers see a 25-game regular season home winning streak end. Randall Cunningham passes for 442 yards and four scores. Packers quarterback Brett Favre throws three interceptions before getting benched.

2. MONDAY NIGHT MIRACLE
Nov. 6, 2000: Favre tosses a 43-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Freeman in overtime during a driving rain at Lambeau for a 26-20 Monday night victory. The ball bounces off Vikings cornerback Cris Dishman and into the hands of Freeman, who had slipped and was on the ground. Freeman jumps up and races into the end zone. In regulation, Gary Anderson lines up for a 33-yard field goal with seven seconds to play for the Vikings, but holder Mitch Berger muffs the snap, then chucks up an ill-advised pass that is intercepted.

3. MOON OVER LAMBEAU
Jan. 9, 2005: The only playoff game between the teams ends with a 31-17 victory by the Vikings at Lambeau Field. Daunte Culpepper has 284 yards passing and four touchdowns for the Vikings. Favre throws four interceptions for the Packers. Moss scores a late touchdown and pretends to moon the crowd, a slight insult exacerbated by Fox announcer Joe Buck's outrage over an act he deemed "disgusting."

4. Rookie coaches go OVERTIME
Sept. 6, 1992: In Dennis Green's first game as head coach for the Vikings and Mike Holmgren's first game as head coach in Green Bay, the Vikings beat the Packers 23-20 in overtime at Lambeau Field. Terry Allen rushes for 140 yards on 12 carries and has a 45-yard run in overtime to set up Fuad Reveiz's winning field goal.

5. MERRY CHRISTMAS, WISCONSIN
Dec. 24, 2004: The NFC North title is at stake and Favre rallies the Packers to a Christmas Eve 34-31 victory at the Metrodome. His fourth-down touchdown pass to receiver Donald Driver ties it and a 2-minute drill concludes with Ryan Longwell's 29-yard field goal on the last play. Favre completes 30 of 43 passes for 365 yards and three touchdowns.

6. YESTERDAY'S NEWS
Sept. 26, 1999: With 12 seconds remaining, Favre throws a 23-yard touchdown pass on fourth down to Corey Bradford to lift the Packers to a 23-20 victory at Lambeau. After the game, Vikings coach Dennis Green refused to discuss the play because he considered it "yesterday's news."

7. LAST GASP FOR THE PACK
Dec. 10, 1972: The Packers clinch the NFC Central on a frigid day -- wind chill of minus-18 -- at Met Stadium with a 23-7 victory. John Brockington and MacArthur Lane combine for 213 rushing yards for Green Bay and second-year coach Dan Devine. The Packers would win only one more Central or North title (1982) in 23 years.

8. SHIFT IN POWER BEGINS
Sept. 22, 1968: Vince Lombardi is no longer Packers coach. The Vikings beat the Packers, under Phil Bengtson, 26-13 at County Stadium and, for the first time, sweep the season series with a 14-10 victory at Met Stadium on Oct. 10. Bud Grant's Vikings (8-6) win the division title when Green Bay knocks off Chicago in the final game of the season.

9. BLOCK THAT KICK!
Oct. 13, 1963: The host Vikings, searching for their first victory over the Packers, get within two points with two late touchdowns. Fred Cox lines up for the winning field goal, but Packers cornerback Herb Adderley blocks the kick and Hank Greminger returns it 80 yards for a touchdown and a 37-28 victory.

10. FAVRE IN PURPLE
Oct. 5, 2009: Favre, after joining the Vikings, plays his first game against the Packers. The sight is odd to Green Bay fans, and Favre throws three TD passes against his former team in a 30-23 Vikings victory. A month later, he wins at Lambeau, throwing four scoring passes.

#6 remains one of my all-time favorite Packers moments. The most bizarre Packers-Vikings game I can remember was the one in Minnesota in 1995 when Favre and Detmer both went down and T.J. Rubley threw a pick to lose it.

Thats amazing! TJ Rubley ALSO played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (my CFL team) and was apparently just as horrible up here as he was in the NFL (threw 4 TDs and 12 INTs in 1998).

Whenever there's a QB that Bomber fans hate, the common phrase thrown around is "he's the second coming of TJ Rubley"

Just solidifying the Packer-Blue Bomber connection :p
