1) Barnett is the best player within about 20 selections give or take, but replace him with Anquan Boldin (you'll get Cato June later anyway)
3) Kenny Peterson becomes Domanick Davis or Chris Brown (Davis)
5a) James Lee turns into Mike Scifres (SD pro-bowl P)
5b) Hillenmeyer is now Cato June! Shrewd move
6) Curtin is shown the door in favor of Josh Brown (K SEA)
7a) Chris Johnson is now Willie Pile (FS KC, DAL Sp Teams guy)
7b) Rubin is ditched in favor of Kassim Osgood (WR SD)
7c) Chris Clemons (LB Wash) steps in for Carl Ford
7d) Steve Josue's name is never called as some guy named Antonio Gates (TE SD) comes aboard

Boldin, Davis, June, and Gates make major noise for this draft. Brown and Scifres stablize the kicking game. Osgood provides depth and competition at WR, while Clemons and Pile are special teams gurus that push the starters and provide quality depth. A++

See how easy that was? Hindsight. Gotta love it!

Hilenmeyer coulda been...Hillenmeyer.

Getting rid of him and letting him go to the bears was so stupid.

Playing the what-if game almost always end in tears.

We didn't really get rid of Hillenmeyer. We stuck him on the practice squad and the Bears signed him off it.

Yeah, but it's still so much fun isn't it? About Hillenmeyer, you're fortunate he cleared waivers to land on your practice squad. You just never know. (Still would prefer Cato June...)
