I have to disagree with you on this. This is the NFC Championship game, not some pre-season game that we are talking about. If these fans were worried about making it out on time, maybe they shouldn't have gone in the first place!
We may had some dumb@$$ fans, but at least we don't bail on our team thinking we lost only to look foolish and try to get back into the stadium. How embarrassing!
For about a minute I hated Bostick and called him a POS, but he alone didn't lose the game today. There are 22 other teammates and about 10+ coaches that equally need to be blamed.
What an embarrassment! For all those that left early it just proves that they are bandwagon fans and wanted to get a head start on jumping right off! They should be banned from all future games.
It was obvious that Rodgers needed the first half to figure out how to play on 1 leg, but given how he performed in the 2nd half, I think the O will be alright next Sunday against the Seachickens. I just don't want to rely on our D to bail us out!
When I read this morning that Suh's excuse was that his feet were numb it pissed me off even more. Let me guess his thigh was numb as well and didn't feel Rodgers swat at him either. Suh is laughing at the NFL!! What a joke!
....and the way we make RB look like All Pro's, Jackson will probably have 150+ yards and then we'll really be pissed we didn't sign him (although I'm glad we didn't as we wouldn't of drafted Lacy).
I wish I had your optimism, but lets face it, without Rodgers and a poor D it's just not going gonna happen. We needed a win (not a tie) at home either against Minnesota or Philadelphia and we didn't get it done. My confidence in the team as it stands today has faded.
The D was running on fumes in the 4th quarter and yes that is a direct correlation to the O not being able to take time of it's own. The D line had no pressure and the Bears WR's pushed the DB's around so the blame can be spread all around.
A few more times in the sack and then on to better things! I'm more concerned about the D that lets a 2nd string QB eat up 9+ minutes of clock in the 4th quarter. Thumbs down on both sides of the ball!
Yes the O was less than stellar once ARod went down, but WOW, did the D suck or what. A 2nd string QB took up 9+ minutes up in the 4th quarter when you are only down by 4 points. No pressure and poor tackling, sounds like last year!
Flynn probably is not the answer! It's like dating a girl the second time around, it sounds good at first but usually doesn't pan out and you break up......AGAIN!
I don't want to sound like a jag-off, but I see you are an intern at ESPN and you should have access to the biggest database of stats, so hopefully you can share with us what you find.
