What were his conversions on key plays, ie 3rd downs?
He started off incredibly well and his first quarter was excellent. Then he decides to throw to EQ on a 3rd and 5 about 15-20 yards down field that requires an inexperienced rookie to read the coverage and react to sit down in a zone and...
Mccarthy hasn’t done the best job but Rodgers doesn’t seem very coachable at the moment. The fact that he is passing up gimme 3rd down (short) conversions to wide open guys underneath to instead throw deep downfield for low percentage completion attempts is inexcusable.

Edmunds and Davenport would be my 2 choices, in small part to the fact that CB and WR seem to be deep positions in this draft. Edmunds just seems like a guy who will be a stud LB in this league for a decade +, and Davenport in the mix with Wilkerson and rising players in Clark and Lowry on the...
Didn't we keep 7 last year? I can't see any scenario where we keep less than 6. I mostly agree with Arthur.

Adams
Cobb

Practice squad for Yancey, and Janis cut if we can find another gunner on the roster.
Speed alone does jack squat - you have to make plays with some level of consistency. He doesn't. He doesn't in practice, and the limited time in games he doesn't either.
Have you guys watched this guy for years like I have? Jesus, it's not hard to figure out at this point. He's not a good WR. He runs sloppy routes, plays the ball terribly in the air, and can't fight to catch balls in traffic. He is on this team to be a gunner, and thats it. It was great to...
If he has animosity towards the Bears and gets cut, it could be a very good signing for us. I'm sure TT would reach out to #56 if he was considering picking him up.
With that being said, Rodgers is a similar TE with a lot more football in front of him, and I think we need a speedier...
Proud as hell of the team, so I hope some of you are just venting because it was a heartbreaking way to lose. The one thing I'm pissed about is the need to go to zone so much more after man was working. 11 gashed us on a couple of plays and it caused us to change what had for the most part...
I am not against the move of Hyde to FS, however I am not OK with the idea that it solves the issues on the back end. Not only are we unsure if Hyde will be effective at FS for us, but it takes away one of our CB's in the process. I agree that there is a redundancy at CB with Hyde and Hayward...
Yes, it worked well last year. Now Boldin is one year older, they extended him, and now have to let other stars go like Carlos Rogers and might not be able to bring back their other younger CB in Tarell Brown, who they like a lot. This is how it works, you can't pay everyone. Not to mention...

Good examples, but both were considered bargains, not the guys who got overpaid on day 1 of FA.
You're right, but most of them are failures for the price tag they command. This is isn't disputable. Look at the teams that are all big FA spenders. Most recently, Philly/Washington/Dallas/Minnesota/Buffalo...none even made the playoffs!!!!....the list goes on. You have to be cap aware for...
