He's been expected to play hero ball his entire career. Ineptitude in the front office and coaching issues put the pressure on him to basically have to win the game by himself. When Brady has an off game or even off season, there's enough talent and scheming around him to still be successful...
This will be my last comment on this subject since it's pretty clear we're just going around in circles. As much as I would enjoy watching it, the Packers haven't shown thus far this season that they can impose their will on anybody. Even if we were 100% healthy, I'm not sure we have the play...
So what would your brilliant offensive mind have called last night? Out of RBs and the deep ball isn't there. Short to mid range passes seemed to move the ball down the field.
Depends on what you consider an elite offense. Personally, I'd rather have an offense that can control the clock and move the chains than one that lives and dies by the deep ball.
And not taking what the defense gives you is just plain dumb. For the first time in a year, I saw receivers getting...
Gotta take what the defense is giving you. It's been pretty obvious this season that the downfield ball isn't working. Whether it's the receivers not getting separation or Rodgers missing throws is another discussion all together. If we can move the chains and control the clock throwing the...
I think you put Sitton in the wrong category. I understand he stepped into a position he doesn't normally play, but he got worked out there just like Barclay did last week. If I'm remembering it correctly, it was Sitton's guy that got into Rodgers' arm and caused the fumble. That one turned out...
I am absolutely NOT one for underestimating opponents and expect the team is preparing for this game just like they would if they were playing any of the top tier teams in the league. But I think people are giving the Oakland defense more credit than they probably deserve after last week. Denver...
Not by a lot? A veteran first rounder with a ton of starts under his belt and the most reliable tackle in an offense that's consistently been near the top of the NFL vs a Rookie (maybe 2nd year, not sure???) 3rd round backup. Yeah your right, pretty much the same player.
The same could be said about any position on the field IMO.
I'm not saying that our OL is playing stellar, but assigning them the majority of the blame isn't accurate either.
I agree, Bakhtiari can't kick quick enough to cover a speed rush on the outside and he's bad against the bull rush. The...
It's an offensive unit problem, not a position problem. Think about it. AR gets sacked because he's holding the ball too long because nobody can get open. Whose fault is the sack? AR for holding onto it? OL for letting the pocket collapse after 6 seconds? WR for not coming out of their breaks...
