    Overall Graft Grades, PF "experts"

Idk if anyone likes PFF here but they consider GB the most improved team in the division based on this draft (starts at 1:03)

    Overall Graft Grades, PF "experts"

"Grading" starts at 40:47. I respect a lot of this guy's work, and for those upset about the Gary pick (I was one til I gave it more thought) he nails how GB should and probably will use him to make him a star.

    150 - Kingsley Keke DE

In terms of being an every down OLB specifically, I agree he's a project. But (imo) Pettine will line him up all over the place in sub packages for different twists, stunts and blitzes. He'll make an immediate impact rushing the QB.

Packers 1st round selection, #12 overall: Rashan Gary, DE

SIAP but this is a good thread of film showing pros and cons https://twitter.com/RossUglem/status/1121783195144421377?s=19

    No. 75 Jace Sternberger TE

This pick makes me think Lafleur might favor the McVay branch of the tree over the Shanahan branch. Rams use a ton of sift blocking and create easier block angles with misdirection and formation, which is perfect for Jace.

The Official Draft Day 2019 Thread

I HATED the idea of even considering Gary. But a few days ago I saw someone illustrate how well he'd fit with Baltimore which is schematically similar to GB...basically moving Gary and Z. Smith all over the place on passing downs and letting them loop and slant to maximize their impact...

    High/Low vs. Consensus

I follow a lot of college stuff on social media but not a lot of NFL stuff. This one random tweet led me into a web of new NFL/Packer follows and a great 'The Athletic' article where the author used old McVay/Shanahan draft trends to predict the Packer draft. Thanks, I have some reading and...

    High/Low vs. Consensus

With the "Calvin Johnson route tree" it's all about his freakish speed/size/strength combo, his stiffness wouldn't be a factor. If he didn't have all 3 of those attributes it'd be a problem. Literally ask him to do those 4 routes (5 with screens) and groom him into more down the road, but even...

    High/Low vs. Consensus

It's a fair criticism and I totally agree it's a boom or bust pick, but I think his stats are more of an indictment of Ole Miss' offense and QB. I watched DK in 3 games (youtube has vids edited to just his snaps) just to see how he was used, and the overwhelming majority of his routes were some...

    High/Low vs. Consensus

High(er than other members here) - DK Metcalf, let him do what he does well, don't try to mold him into Antonio Brown and he's all-pro Edit to add he's far more explosive than Kevin White coming out (4 inches more on vertical, 11 more on broad jump, 13 lbs heavier). His comp is closer to...

    Dexter Lawrence Nose clemson.

I watched a breakdown of the NC St center whose name escapes me, but he handled Lawrence pretty easily 1 on 1. Everything from pass blocking to reach blocking in their run game. I don't know how many NFL caliber centers were on Clemson's schedule but Lawrence didn’t do well that game.

Gute looking for 'bigger guys' to play a prominent role at slot WR

I wanted to make this a thread in the Draft forum but don't have the ability yet, but this guy makes a great argument for why Metcalf is Calvin Johnson with film examples. It's 15 mins but well worth it, and "debunks" some of the negative impressions of DK. For the too long, won't watch...

Packers hire Titans' OC Matt LaFleur as their HC

Probably old news but you can search 'Tennessee Titans full game 2018' on youtube and watch a few games to judge yourself.

Packers hire Titans' OC Matt LaFleur as their HC

Bro McDaniels sucks. I'm happy we got a guy from the Rams' (Shanahan) tree.

    Christine Michael cut

From lurking the board a few days pre-draft, a lot of members seem to like safety. The vets are the safe picks to earn carries going fwd, but Michael, aside from a few runs where he showed great burst, couldn't beat out a converted WR and FB for more snaps. I forgot Jackson was even on the...
