I agree Ry... I was soooooooooooo excited. But to pose the question after the fact, well, hope doesn't exist in that vacuum anymore. At the time I could think "well we got some big breaks, that's gonna be the story of this win" and being up that high, like a big night on the slopes, well...

not to mention the eagles did one of the most statistically unlikely things ever by fumbling twice inside the packers' five... come on... no one cares about being up cuz there's not an "up at halftime" column in the standings.

Seriously. And even the Giants have looked *horrible* this year. A fluke? Definitely not. Could we go out and get completely worked tonight? Absolutely but there's a chance the secondary plays up to its billing -- or at least close -- and we make a game out of it.

it's DEFINITELY a coaching thing and if you dont think so, i'd have to question (in a non-condescending way) if you've ever played competitive football (college or otherwise). we used to be scared shitless of our coaches. what we'd have to do in practice if penalties were committed was...

i thought hawk played very very well against the saints... was always around the ball and sticking to his assignments, funneling the play back towards the inside. a major factor.
