it was all in the offering document in the NFL rules section (looks like most people didn't read it). A whole bunch of stuff about not being able to own another team, lend players/coaches/other teams money, publicly criticizing players/coaches/refs/other NFL employees. All that type of stuff...
Yeah I know you can do that. I just wanna make sure I'll eventually be able to change my address to a Canadian address. Like if I lived in the states now and then moved to Canada… I'm sure you can register the new address
Any recommendations for someone in Canada? It says it can't be gifted internationally right now. Thinking I could just use a freight forward service for the certificate, but eventually I would have change the registration to my home. Can I do this? Doesn't matter to me that the address on the...
dammit... I just left disneyworld on Saturday. Was excited that I made it home in time to watch the game not in a hotel bar... but I coulda waited 2 days and seen A-Rod at disney... oh well.
nobody mentioned Mike Wilbon? or Ron Jaworski? both picked the steelers on PTI last week (as well as the bears the week before).
Good old Kornheiser had our back though.
got a friend who does it all the time. He's actually huge into sports and knows his stuff. But he doesn't necessarily have favorite teams. Came up last year in the NFL playoffs as he was cheering for any canadian team to win... I was cheering for the Blackhawks. Had to smack talk each other...
ha the best instance was a radio station here in winnipeg had a contest a few years ago to win "an all expenses trip to watch the superbowl in Miami". But when the couple won, they found out that it was a trip to Miami Manitoba (1.5 hours southwest of here) to watch the game in the bar. Huge...
the other thread (petition to get them in) had an article that said it was due to logistics. They bring the IR guys in on thursday due to lack of proper available facilities in Dallas. Apparently normally isn't a big deal but is escalated with the size of our IR this year. Sucks... I think...
yeah it's denitely two different stories in the two conferences. In the last 20 years... 14 of the 16 NFC teams have made it (Lions and Vikes haven't) while only 9 of the AFC teams have.
In the last 10 SB's (including this year) the only team other than the Pats (4 times), Pitt (3 times), and...
yeah I heard they have the parking lot tickets for $200 to watch the screen... but you have to buy them in 4 packs. Plus they said on ESPN radio today that hotel prices have skyrocketed... a super 8 room is like $400 a night that week. As much as I'd like to go... don't got $6K-$10K to...
this is pretty much the only reason the "bye" week is a good thing for the superbowl. you want to get the two best teams at their best. This will allow for at least some rest and getting rid of a lot of minor bumps an bruises. A-Rod should be find with the extra week.
see it all over the place. Just like it's become commonplace her in manitoba for all restaurants to offer "pints" of beer but they're all different sizes. at minimum, when ordering a "pint" you should get 16 oz (despite traditional pint being 20 oz) but it's rare to actually get 16 oz...
hmmm... I'll be flying over GB on saturday... maybe I'll borrow a parachute. too bad I don't think this is going to last that long. how about a find the mysterman contest in Winnipeg this week? or Orlando on sat/sun? Best of luck guys... would love to hear someone on here won...
