That's 5 yards a carry for Rashard. 2 weeks before that he rushed for well over 100 yards against one of the leagues top rushing defenses and, no offense, the Packers rush defense was not among one of the premier in the league. There's no way in the world that you can convince me that it was...
And I'll reiterate what I just said. FOURTEEN RUSHES. That's an average of 3.5 rushes PER QUARTER. 3 rushes a quarter? 3? That means that even before the Steelers were down Mendenhall wasn't rushing at all. There's never an excuse for that when you have him running like a mad man all game. That...
100% I can blame it on him. You have a running back who's been running like a man possessed all through the playoffs, and a quarterback who is the very reason that you're down 14-0 or 21-3, with a beat up receiving corps. Running the ball 14 times? That's ridiculous.
Hmm..I don't know where you were looking, but almost every single person on my forum acknowledged that it would be a good, hard fought game. We discussed the advantages that the Steelers had over the Packers, just as I'm sure you guys talking about the Packers advantages over the Steelers...
He did put himself in a bad situation and, hey, maybe a suspension was exactly what he needed to get himself in gear, but I think it's a little extreme to say that you want him out of Pittsburgh because of that incident.
People talking about Ben is a sore subject for us. He wasn't convicted of anything, wasn't charged, for all anyone knows it was just a money hungry college girl trying to make a splash in the press. We like to say he made bad decisions, he didn't necessarily do bad things. And he got punished...
Funny, us Steeler fans get frustrated with him a lot. He's fired up when things are going good, but when things are going bad he looks like a deer in headlights. Either way, he is a good follow up to Cowher. He's only been there for what, 3 or 4 years? Hopefully he'll develop the Cowher jaw in...
Agreed. There were bad calls and bad no-calls for both teams, but nothing that really effected either team too much, so I'm not gonna act like the blown holding call on Miller was the reason that the Steelers lost, because it isn't.
As Steeler fans, we know how it feels when the losers of...
There has been no crying or whining at all on my forum. The refs were pretty much nonexistent in the game which is the way it should be. The only really blown call that I noticed was the hold that they called against Miller..yellow and green glasses or not, that was not a hold.
I would have come on here last night, but I didn't really have the time between the tears and the temper tantrums :) So, I just came on here to congratulate the Packers and all of you. If I had to chose a team to lose to in the superbowl, it would be the Packers by far, and I'm pretty sure...
