Agreed, it was almost as if they wanted to turn the page ASAP. I never did like the idea of doing it this upcoming season, and certainly not at the home/season opener. I would opt for the season of his HOF induction(5 years after he has been out of the league).

AR has already won the competition. TT will not allow the distraction during TC and Favre will be traded just prior to or just after the start of camp - or he will finally get the hint that the Packers are moving on without him and will actually retire.

Favre is done in Green Bay, period. There is no good way to have him come back at this point in time. Green Bay will NOT release his rights. 50/50 on a trade to a team outside of the division.

Unlikely this would happen, but if the stars align properly, yes I would like to see him make the move if he were to get Rd 1 or an equal combination in return. If the offer were to be lower, than I would say no and let him be forever retired as a Packer.

There are teams that I do not despise, but none that I could go so far as to say I like. I really liked the Raiders and that whole culture when I was a kid(70's), but now just the PACK.

Bubba got kind of a bum rap, as he was a 1st round pick and never really lived up to that status, although he had a nice career and some big catches(kind of a modern day Ed West). If he would have been a mid-round selection or FA his career would be seen in a more positive light.

I do not see it happening, but I guess I would want someone like this leading my team. You do not want negative thoughts and low expectations to set the tone for the season and the rest of the team, rather set the bar high and shoot for it from day one.

If he is at least average, it will be Rogers. The QB is 99% of the time the focal point of the offense(and the one who gets in inordinate amount of the credit or blame) and the only player to touch the ball every single snap, by default they are normally the face of the franchise.
