    They tried to re-sign him. He wanted either too much or to move on. One has to remember this thing called the salary cap. He did sign for an average of $33 million a year, and I don't think the Vikings wanted to sign him for 3 more years with JJ being in the wings.

    Actually, the O-line was the glaring weakness. At least over the past 2 years. 109 sacks on 4 different QB's in two years isn't on the QBs.

    Oh there are a bunch of fans saying we shouldn't have got rid of him. But we made him an offer, and it wasn't enough. More power to him. I'm not sure how well he would have held up behind out patched up O-line this year. 60 sacks are a lot of beatings.
