    Schedule release date set

It's possible. Every year I ask whether it's the year the Lions emerge as they do have a lot of talent (what you get by drafting in the top 10 every year). That being said, I think the Bears are our true nemesis who could push for the division crown. The Lions had their chance last year when...

Simply do not agree with this. There's a difference between being confident in your team and being unrealistic. We are not a better team, as a whole, than Seattle. I would agree that we have some better players, position for position, mainly on offense. Their defense is 10 times as good as ours...

We just need to try to go 2-2 over that span. Take care of the Jets at home and win at least one of the road division games against the Lions or Bears. That would be a success in my book. We can go on our run in the second half of the year where we have 5 home games and road games against...

    Schedule release date set

Can't really compare the game this year to the Fail Mary game. A lot has changed. That was Russell Wilson's 2nd game as a pro, now he's basically a vet. They also have Harvin now (assuming he's healthy). We have changed players too. Not to beat a dead horse, but this is not a good draw for us...

    Schedule release date set

Does it matter that the first Thursday game is the opener? Because I saw that we play the Bears in Week 4 and Week 10. If the leaked home schedule is right, it would mean we play three out of the first four on the road against Seattle, Detroit and Chicago. Ouch.

If they have depth issues, all the more reason NOT to play them Week 1. Let them get a little banged up before we come to play. This is not about fear of playing Seattle, it's about putting us in the best position to win the game. Moreover, I think you're under-estimating Seattle's pass rush...

    Best options?

I believe he only had one sack in college so you're certainly not drafting him for his pass rush ability. He's a big body that would fit well in our system as a NT, mainly as a 2-down run stuffer. He does possess quickness though and I would imagine has a decent bull rush. Just did not see that...

    Best options?

This. McCullers' is so big and tall that I immediately wonder why he did not dominate in collage and is only being considered a mid-late round guy. My favorite NT options are DaQuan Jones and Justin Ellis. Jones is about 315 (down from about 330 during his earlier years at Penn State) and is...

    What if??

That's a big "if" and we cannot keep crossing our fingers and hoping that happens. We have major injuries every single year, especially on defense, including our best player, Matthews. I would love to see them healthy but I'm not counting on it. Without a doubt, we need to shore up the middle of...

That's fine in theory, but from a realistic standpoint, playing in Seattle Week 1 is the closest thing to a sure loss that we are going to see. I will be rooting and hollering like any other Packers fan, but Seattle is a better team right now with a huge advantage at home.

Eagles open to trading Brandon Graham

If Philly would take a low pick, say 6th round, then I'd do it. I mean, Graham is probably better than anyone we'd draft in the 6th round this year. That's how I justify it. We do need to add some depth at OLB, not so much because we lack the players but because our best 3 OLBs are also 3 of the...

Am I the only one hoping we avoid Seattle in Week 1? While they will be tough to beat any week at Seattle, that place is going to be jacked through the roof on opening night.

    Would you lose your mind?

This. Here's to hoping that a team takes a C ahead of us, along with all the QBs possible. More players to drop to us.

What/Who would you like to see the Packers draft?

Do like Justin Ellis. Plays with an angry demeanor which is always good. Wouldn't put up a fit if we took him over Jones, I like both of them. I think Moncreif is a second round talent myself, but for some reason, every mock I see usually has him going in the mid-late 3rd.

    Vote: #21 Scenario

That's def part of it. I have warmed up to Ward after seeing his numbers, which I think demonstrate that he's capable of playing a centerfield role and has the necessary range and closing speed for the job. Have to admit, I did not watch him much in college so I have also relied a lot on what I...
