If Rodgers never wins another SB, that 2015 game against Seattle will stick out like a sore thumb. Your defense gives you five turnovers. And your star QB does nothing with it. I guess the only saving grace is we probably lose to New England anyway in the SB.
2007 doesn't hurt because that team...
Not a chance.
But I think our offense would've racked up the points on their defense.
So it could've went down to the wire.
Oh well.
Guess it doesn't matter now.
The 07 Packers would've been waxed in the SB by New England. There was only one team that had the personnel to stop them. And obviously it was the Giants.
Lose to superior opponents like Atlanta & SF? Fine. Better teams won.
Lose to this team at home? Gutpunch.
I honestly thought we would win.
I feel sick.
Look the 49ers have the better offense. The better defense. The better special teams. Coaching is about even. The 49ers should be big favorites.
But...we have Rodgers. There's always a chance with him at QB. But something isn't being talked about enough. All of the pressure is on the 49ers...
I mean they beat a bad team. Good job. I'm sure they'll dismantle Washington too. But it really doesn't matter. They'll be judged by the game in Minnesota. Then the postseason. Nothing we saw today (Or will see next week), is going to tell us much about this team.
Team needed a legit # 2 receiver. And they don't have one. Very concerning.
Defense blows. Sorry but elite QB's have shredded this defense. They are a huge liability.
