Staying at the Embassy Suites on S. Tryon and have met some other Packers staying at the same. Looking forward to Wiskey River tonight and the game tomorrow. We will be wearing our Cheeseheads and holding up our signs. Go Packers!
We are planning to go to the pep rally. Is there ample parking in that area? I am planning to print out a couple of pictures of Vonta and Colin hoping that they will sign them for my sons. It should be a good time.
where are you sitting? We are in section 114 row 1 , to the left of the Packers bench as you look at it from the field. I think our seats should be between the 20-30 yard line. Any other activities "us" Packer fans have going on?
The person that started this thread asked for everyone's input. Many people gave theirs and I gave mine. I did not assume anything, I gave my opinion based on what I saw happen. Personally, I do not like Capers as a coach. That is my opinion and I think Greenbay can do better.
In the first half we played man coverage which allowed extra players to run stunts and blitz the quarterback which resulted in multiple sacks and a total of 7 points. In the second half Capers changed to a zone coverage taking away the mix of stunts, successful blitzes and pressure giving Palmer...
Lacy looked a lot better, but the squirrel was awesome with the slow motion camera effects. And, half way through his run the squirrel appeared to "wink" at the camera. What a show boat.
I say fire him and replace him with someone like Gene Chizik, the UNC coordinator that turned around that defense in his first year with the same personnel.
How early do we need to be in the stadium to be able to try to see warm ups and get a few autographs for the kids ? Our tickets are lower level row 37. Thanks.
Thanks for the heads up on the official tailgate tents. We will definitely check those out. Being that I was injured in the line of duty as a police officer in 2002 and lost my career, a little more than two years before 20 year retirement, and my wife being a teacher, my one and only "bucket...
As I mentioned in another thread, being a Packers fan since meeting Bart Starr when I was about six years old (48 years ago) we are finally coming to Lambeau for our first Packers game. To say the least, the whole family is excited. We are coming from North Carolina and would like to meet and...
Wow, that was ugly! It looked like a top five D-1 college team playing a very bad high school team. Specifically, Denver looked much faster physically throughout the game. Regroup for next week.
A lot of good thoughts. It still amazes me that anyone that makes it to the NFL has not been pre-schooled or listened to advice about when and where to do those types of activities. Or better yet, not to do those things and find other more productive outlets.
Obviously, I am going to pick the Packers to win but I think it would be easier if Dom would mix up and become a lot more unpredictable with his defensive play calling.
