Do they have to release him? I thought we owned his rights? Tell him we will reinstate him but wont play him. Send him over to work with the practice squad and set a tone to the rest of the team that its not cool to be selfish and two-faced.

Dont forget that there is still that little pesky thing out there called the Madden curse. IF Favre comes back, he has the cover spot on Madden looming over him to either get injured, arrested, or have a horrible year. Do yourself, your fans, and your legacy a favor and stay retired.

First off, I support the Packers. I don't care who the QB is, or any player for that matter - I still root for the Pack on Sunday. I support any player that gives 100% effort on and off the field to be the best person, player, and teammate he can be. Team should come first - period...

what if Brett restructured his contract to play again? would that change anyone's mind? He could get like 5mil for the final 2 yrs of his deal and maybe put a big bonus for going to the Super Bowl. A move like that would show me he really wants to play again.
