After the way Peyton's been treated, I kind of wish he'd ask to be released so he can go elsewhere on his own terms, instead of trying to find a way to fit back in with the Colts. The organization isn't showing much gratitude these days.
Peyton is playing in a less physically demanding position than other players who have had the exact same injury and treatment and continue to play. This is not a career ending injury...if he recovers fully. Last anybody heard, he was on the right track, we just don't know where he is right now.
Eh, I'm in screw Irsay mode right now. I get and approve of most of what he's doing, I don't approve of shutting out the guy who made the 2000's Colts singlehandedly for you. If he'd simply come out and said what he was up to and that he felt the organization had a fabulous partnership with...
They were talking about that on ESPN radio earlier, I forget which show it was, but they said pretty flatly that the Colts don't have the personnel to switch. I don't know. There has been fan talk of the Saints switching it up too. For whatever reason this season has seemed kind of...unengaging...
I was kind of the opposite. As you know, my 49ers hatred dates back to the age of four, and has been refreshed and renewed this season, and I like the Manning family so I was going Giants all the way. I don't like the Ravens but obviously I had to root for them over the Pats. I agree that the...
I love this comment by De'shawn in the article.
"Wow im done with the colts!!! im done with irsay! irsay just made the dumbest move in getting a defense cord that no body knows!!! hes gonna come to indy suck and everyone is gonna be like wait he was coaching good players!! yea ray lewis etc...
Yes it is two games in the Dome. Advantage, Brees. Although the Falcons always do play the Saints hard, there should still be an offensive shootout going on. You make a good point that the Packers may ease up a little if they clinch the number one seed which would put a damper on Rodgers' stats...
IMO, if Rodgers loses out in the MVP voting, it would be to Brees. But I don't believe he's lost it after one bad game. Brees and Rodgers are actually pretty evenly matched this season, with Rodgers maintaining a small lead. It's still his to lose, but will depend on how the two quarterbacks...
Agreed. The defense is a shadow of its '09 self. It should work, but the players aren't getting it done. I miss Fujita and Sharper like crazy.
I am so happy to hear I'm not the only one that sees Patrick Robinson as a liability. I watched him in the preseason games and kept asking myself why...
He did. It was ridiculous that wasn't called, and was one of many bad calls. Bad calls and non calls, I should say, which went both ways, but primarily hurt the Saints.
