It really has been a hospital Ward all year, starting in week 2 (Staley broke his leg) and they didn't get ALMOST everyone back until last week. After not having a bye since week 4, getting the playoff bye was HUGE.
There were times this year they played without either of their starting tackles...
Kittle: Just a sore ankle. He's practicing today and will be a full go per Shanahan.
Ford: Last week was his first game back after Hamstring. Did not re-injure, they are just resting it. Will likely be limited participant tomorrow.
I feel it. They were upset with the PI non call in week 17 vs the Seahawks because it put SF as the 1 seed and put them in the game they lost top begin with.
I spend alot of time on opposing teams forums. That's exactly why I do it...to see it from another perspective. Sure, there are homer fans on every site. You can't imagine the number of times I read something long the lines of "we'll your team might be playing well, but they've never seen...
I will say this as a Niner fan...
...I am very happy its Green Bay the Niners are playing. I'm also happy its KC and Tennessee in the AFC.
Now before someone rips my head off, its got zilch to do with who I think would be an easier match-up. Its is NOT because I assume the Niners win.
Its...
Wow.
So, I came here only to talk football with knowledgeable Packer fans before an NFC Championship matchup. I am not talking smack. I'm here for a real discussion.
Is that asking too much? If you don't want to take part in the discussion, don't. Simple.
If that's too much to ask, its all...
I don't think anyone is suggesting that. I think we are strictly talking about the strategy of attack that worked for Atlanta and LA that did not for Minn.
You may be right.
I also saw a lot more of Dee Ford exploding directly upfield to cutoff those rollouts away from Bosa.
Niners have clearly coached against those screens and roll outs, but just sitting 6 yards deep in the pocket will get Aaron killed.
I think that's exactly what the Packers will do. I'd also watch the second Rams game. I think that's what the Packers will do to attack. Lots of roll outs and screens.
As for the Atlanta game, yes, they had a good gameplan, but also remember the 49ers were missing Sherman, Tartt, Ford...
Hey bro...appreciate support. I have no idea even who that guy is.
Lets just keep it off this board. Lets just stick to football. We're on a Packer forum and they couldn't care less. :D
