I don't think Ssmith was ever a drop-back passer. Didn't he run a lot of option, and throw from the shotgun? He's had to adjust to being under center, or so I read somewhere.

Bills 24, Packers 14 Packers D is a mess right now, given a brand-new secondary due to injuries, an ineffective defensive line, and an offensive line still trying to find itself.

Just so you understand, I'm pulling for the kid, Hawkins. And I recognize that he has the great athletic talent. I was just questioning whether that talent, and possibly his instincts, would be enough to compensate for his lack of experience and technique. But apparently everyone thinks it...

I wouldn't trade Nall. The very reasons cited for keeping him on the team are the very reasons that make him the #2 QB. Rodgers may have ability and more upside, but he is only 21, and a ROOKIE. Let him learn the techniques of the clipboard, and maybe relaying plays. If this season really goes...
