I like Andy, but I do think some of his grading was a bit bias towards the Packers. Or, should I say, an optimistic fan.
QB: Love & Taylor: Still not completely sold that Love can take us to the promised land. I would say he is a 4. He's at the very least in the top 15 and probably closer to...
Agreed, I found that odd. If we were going to part ways they should have done it earlier. Maybe Bisaccia had something to do with keeping McManus before he flew the coop.
Some of those catches were on blown coverages from bad college defenses. However, there were a few nice catches in traffic and a couple where he showed very nice body control to make the catches. Also, they looked like he got both feet in, so would have counted in the NFL as well. Nice addition...
Yes, I think this is accurate. We drafted Domani Jackson CB in the 6th and then grabbed Smack in the 6th. So, we gave up two 7ths to move back up into the 6th round. Math says that we gave up one total pick. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks for sharing. I had not heard of him before the draft. Looks like they got him right about where he was projected. Listening to the local radio guys, they said that basically he is a lock to start at NT. In the 3-4, he will be in between Wyatt and Hargrave. Not sure they are correct...
I don't think a team gives up two draft picks regardless if they are 7th rounders and then not roll with him. Smack is the new kicker. I'm actually pretty excited about this pick. I know it is dumb, but we are addressing a serious need.
Now that the dust from the Denver game has settled and I’m less emotional about the loss of both the game and Parsons, I can share some rational thoughts.
Roster Notes:
It sounds like Odunze will likely be out for the remainder of the season. The team are slow-playing it, but a bears beat...
This has been a very hot topic this last week on the local radio stations here in Green Bay. Gary had something like 7.5 sacks through the first seven games and has not recorded any since. The only impactful play was causing JJ McCarthy to throw an interception to McDuffie. Other than that, his...
I think that is pretty good speculation. I do think that Melton is faster than Heath, which helps on special teams. Well, it kinda helps everywhere. I do think they were probably going to stash Heath on the practice squad, but he got scooped up right away. Not a huge loss IMO.
Not a chance. Lewis's blocking ability fell off dramatically even in his last year with the Packers. Kinnard is made for blocking and has been with the team the whole season after the trade with the Eagles. I'd wager anything that Lewis can catch sneaking out Kinnard can catch. It would be kind...
LVN is a DE primarily and used for the pass rush. I do know they were trying him at DT in the offseason to bolster depth there and get him more on the field. I wonder if they can utilize him there to help shore that up.
