Just curious if people would consider this a terrible draft if the Packers win the Superbowl in 2 years with Rogers at QB, a running attack similar to the Broncos of 97 with Dillon carrying the load at RB, and Deguara pulling in 10 TDs on the season at TE/HB/Flex? Maybe Love steps in and goes...
The 2005 season was pretty brutal from a production standpoint. I know a lot of that was the injury to Javon Walker who had a breakout year in 2004.
Donald Driver - 86/1221/5
Antonio Chatman - 49/549/4
Robert Ferguson - 27/366/3
Andrae Thurman - 7/92/0

I’ve seen people mention quite a bit about $4M for Hoyer, but not much about the guarantees. Of the 12 Million, $7 M was guaranteed at signing and another $2 M guaranteed next year against injury. That’s pretty steep for a backup IMO...
As I read through this thread, I'm a bit confused why so many people are discounting the 3 rookie receivers. It often takes 2-3 years for a WR to learn how to play in the NFL. There are exceptions, but the norm is that it takes time. They haven't even had an off-season with the team yet...
It's official with Mennenga now. They also retained Maurice Drayton as assistant special teams coach and hired two new Defensive QC coaches in Wendel Davis and Christian Parker.

Drayton was only here one year...
Just to be clear, PFT quoted Tom Silverstein from a Journal Sentinel article. Here is the paragraph from his article:
According to ESPN (Rob Demovsky) and a newer article by the same Tom Silverstien, they both mention that GB did meet his offer but he declined.
Clarification on why Rizzi did not come to Green Bay to be Special Team Coordinator. It appears that it did not have to do with Salary or the Packers low-balling him.

In watching this unfold, I wonder how much of some of the moves this season such as trading HaHa and Montgomery were tied to Gutekunst seeing the culture and starting to weed some of it out.
It did seem strange to trade HaHa when we were already struggling with even getting two healthy...
Just a quick note about the IR players coming back. You are correct that 2 can come back, but only if they make the initial 53 man roster. Those put on IR today are not eligble to come back. They have to be part of the 53 man roster at cut-down and put on IR tomorrow or later to be eligible to...
