Colin Cowherd is the exact same way. At least Skip will occasionally give the Pack an ounce of credit, Cowterd wouldn't give the Pack any credit with a gun to his head. Also, in a debate today "if you were starting a franchise which QB would you take, Rodgers or Big Ben?" The other two guys...
In the SB against Seattle they had the benefit of the referees nearly handing them the game. Arizona damn near beat them. They act like they had such a tough road to the Super Bowl. They played Joe "I fold like a wet paper towel under pressure" Flacco and the no offense Ravens at home. Then...
His play didn't seem nearly as stellar even before that hit. He took a shot to the head, regardless of whether he got concussed or not he's going to be a little dazed.
I give him an "A" as well. I love how he's consistently kept the Packers as one of the youngest teams in the league. He knows when to "hold'em and when to fold'em" so to speak when it comes to players and coaches. He's built a solid young, deep team that can compete for a Super Bowl year in...
Anyone who is not happy with the Brett divorce is insane. Favre would still be with the Packers if we didn't finally cut him loose. Safe to say I'd doubt we'd be getting ready for the Super Bowl in that case.
I like Mike. I think he's a very underrated coach who has had to deal with a pile of injuries to some key players no less. He's no Lombardi, but hey, who is? McCarthy/Rodgers has all the makings of a dynamite combo.
Don't care about Favre at the moment. We should just be thankful we've had Favre and Rodgers are our starting QB's consecutively. I will say this though, the NFC was a lot more powerful in Favre's early years.
Forget Derrick Brooks, his opinion isn't going to win or lose the game Sunday. On a side note, Jay Crawford on First Take described the AFC Championship game as the "Super Bowl."
Agreed, it's a bigger rivalry for the fans than it is the players. So many players these days switch teams and train together it's rare that you get hatred rivalries amongst the players.
