THE OFFICAL BRETT FAVRE GOOD BYE AND APPRECIATION THREAD***

Re: THE OFFICAL BRETT FAVRE GOOD BYE AND APPRECIATION THREAD brett is a living legend and the best ever to play the game. i'm really bummed and will miss watching him play. brett favre IS football!

    McCarthy to blame..?

yes mccarthy should get some of the blame as should bob sanders as should the ENTIRE team. face it, the players were flat and played poorly the entire game. favre definitely made a bad throw in o.t. if it were thrown a little more to the outside i think we had a good chance of a big play...

Where should I attend my next Packers' game?

i also live in nj (jersey city) and want to see a game at lambeau. maybe we can get a big group of nj packer fans together and all go to green bay together!

the OFFICIAL "I am over it" thread...

i'm basically over the game. it still kills me because even though we played poorly and failed to cash in on a lot of missed opportunities we were still in the game at the end. i think once we bring in 2 or 3 big playmakers and cut some of the dead weight on the team, we will be poised to make...

    Al Harris

correct. we had NO pass rush at all and i think harris knew he was outmatched from the get go and thought he could get under burress' skin. i believe we blitzed 3 times yesterday. pathetic game plan and a less than mediocre showing from the ENTIRE packer team (although driver, lee, tauscher...

    Playoff Loss Hangover

i hear you sadie. i live in jersey city and have to deal with all of my friends who are giants fans as well as the media. i actually have the mike and the mad dog show on right now on 660am and they're talking about how bad favre and al harris were yesterday. actually, al harris is getting...

    Favre and the Playoffs.

you should also remember that favre is part of a TEAM that has been in flux for the past few years. the team as a whole has been inconsistant and that includes the coaches too.

    Al Harris

Re: Next Year ok. i didn't really notice woodson covering burress. i taped the game and will re-watch it (in a few days after the depression subsides).

so who has to work tomorrow?

i have to teach private guitar lessons from 4 until 8pm tomorrow and i have absolutely NO voice left. i'm actually lucky that i wasn't evicted from my apartment after screaming at the top of my lungs for 3 and a half hours tonight! haha!

    its a sad thing...

thanks. now beat the poo out of the pats in 2 weeks!

    Al Harris

Re: Next Year i've always thought that woodson is a much better player than harris. is this not true? why wasn't woodson covering burriss tonight? i think that harris is a good #2 cb and probably has 1 or 2 more years left in him.

    Bret Retire NOW

whoever started this thread is a moron. did you remember the season we just had???
  13. jbroad70

Who are you pulling for in the SB?

being that i live 2 miles outside of nyc i will pull for the giants even though i really am not a big fan of either team.

What do we add next year?

i agree about rouse. he looked really good in the few games that he played in and seemed to have that intangible thing that collins does not have (and probably never will). i was actually kind of excited when collins came out of the game and rouse came in. but my excitement was short-lived :(

What do we add next year?

absolutely spot-on. we need to get rid of both nick collins and daryn colledge. collins does have a lot of talent and is very athletic but lacks the smarts and good football sense to become a great player in the nfl. colledge proved this season that he CAN play well if he is called out by the...
