I think a big factor for if you want that 5th year is how valued is the position. Quarterback, DLine, edge rusher, left tackle, WR, CB those are the positions to draft at the end of the 1st imo, if you're drafting anything else trade back. Its one of the reason I'd pass on drafting an ILB at 30...

I think the Packers have too many holes to fill the next couple years to waste what draft capital they have to trade up. If anything they should be trading back.

From what I read he seems to be average against the pass and above average to excellent against the run. If he stays healthy I think he'll earn his paycheck.

I like the Packer signing a couple tier 2 guys instead of putting all their cap space into 1 player (Littleton). They should get a couple of decent comp picks next year too, Ted would be proud.

I think ideally the Packers fill the tight end position in free agency, and hopefully either a right tackle or ILB. So whichever position they dont address in FA they can fill with #30. If one of the top ILB/RT/WR/DL are not available trade back and pick from the next batch.
