GM's in both sports that I watch, hockey and football, say that they draft BPA based on their board and not on the basis of need. It makes sense, but if we go hard in FA and acquire a few good players (hopefully), do we still go the BPA route? Or do we change that to need by moving down (or up)...
It hard to listen to a coach when you have lost respect for him. I think that is where Rodgers is at now with MM, whether that is good or bad is debatable. And to be fair, MM has made way too many poor decisions and wasted enough of Rodgers prime years for Rodgers to feel that way.
And even if...
Being local to Seattle I heard some Seahawks fans trash talk to me about Packers saying goodbye to their playoff chances. Despite the loss we have a better chance of making the playoffs than the Seahawks do. We are only a game behind them and the two toughest games we have are both against...
Whether Rodgers wants MM fired or not, I doubt he is doing anything to force the issue. Especially in a season where there is no clear front-runner in the NFC North. That being said, I would not at all be surprised if he actually does want McCarthy fired.
Serious question here. Where do we think the level of patience management has with MM at this time? Is there a good chance they part ways with him if we miss the playoffs?
I dread to think what happens if we end up getting a star player (other than Rodgers) who decides to hold-out similar to the likes of Earl Thomas or Leveon Bell. I am not as worried about losing Montgomery but you trade your best safety in a year where you are fighting for a playoff spot and do...
Awesome. Lets plan the parade.
So frustrating to constantly keep stacking up draft picks and not using them as leverage to improve the team *NOW*. We are banking way too much on late 1st round picks to make an immediate impact and help the team. Jaire Alexander has been an exception in the last...
I would trade McCarthy for a bag of peanuts if I could. He has ruined too many of Rodgers prime years. He has been riding Rodgers coattails since he became our coach and has been living of the one SuperBowl win.
Barrett would be nice. I know there is no real chance but I was really hoping we could somehow snag Leveon Bell. Would be so nice to give Rodgers a great/elite running back to compliment him. If we are going the D route, would be nice to have a LB or DE who can generate some pressure...
We already are so stocked up on draft picks not sure why we had to trade down. Quantity over quality is just not going to cut it. We need more playmakers on out team.
Makes perfect sense that both Jackson and Michael are cut. They were given a chance and did little to nothing. Specially Michael. Have some healthy competition in camp with the 3 RB picks and hopefully one of the 3 steps up enough to deserve a spot next to Ty.
