    Training camp begins on Wed July 29th. I always have mixed emotions. It means that my favorite sport is about to start but it is also (personally) the first sign that makes me think that summer is coming to an end. I am most looking forward to Golden integrating himself into this offense.

    I think that you know the point here. Most football fans understand that rookies generally won't have much of an impact. Of course, every season there are rookies that step forward into the light (Puka Nacua is a great, recent example).

    I'm not really wading into this feud, but I would inquire beyond the stats about who these guys were covering. My sense is that Nixon was covering the #1 or #2 WR more often and that Bullard was covering lower-tier WRs. I could be wrong.
