    AFMB Mock Draft

Hi everyone, Some of you may remember me from a couple of months back, when I (a Falcons fan) came to this board to ask for advice about the Packers' offseason needs, as well as, the current talent on the depth chart. You guys were tremendously helpful, and I believe that I was able to create...

    Thomas Decoud

Haha no not at all. But he has shown in the past that he can be an average to above average safety, so considering the packers' safety situation, he might be worth taking a flyer on if he comes cheap. Who knows, maybe a change of scenery will do him some good.

    Thomas Decoud

Falcon's fan here. Decoud was REALLY bad this year. He's never been a great tackler, but his coverage skills have always been at least average. That all changed this year. Not only did he miss tackles consistently, but his coverage was awful. He honestly seemed like he wasn't even trying at...

    First Round Draft Pick

I've been thinking a lot about who the Packers will draft with their first pick assuming they don't trade back at all. I think there could be 5 options available that would make sense (though a couple of them might have to drop): C.J. Mosley - ILB Eric Ebron - TE Rashede Hageman- DE Calvin...

    Pierre Desir

Wow that article was really bad. He made a claim and did not back it up at all.

Quizz definitely has his moments for sure. He's not the worst player ever by any means, it's just that in my opinion he's kind of a tweener that doesn't fit into any role, so he's just kind of average at everything. I would prefer a true change of pace back over him.

So there isn't really a difference in a 4-3 DE and a 3-4 OLB as far as there roles? Obviously, a 4-3 DE has their hand down, and a 3-4 OLB is in a 2 point stance, but other than that it's not that significant? From my understanding, I always thought the point of the 3-4 is that the defense can...

Wow that was a great summary of the team, thanks man!

I think Ryan is a great quarterback. To me, he's anywhere between the 5th best and 10th best QB in the NFL. Obviously, Manning, Brady, Rodgers, and Brees are the best 4, but after that it gets a little muddled. Roethlisberger and Manning both have rings, but honestly neither has really ever...

Personally, I hate the Jacquizz Rodgers pick. Why in the world would a team pick a RB who is too undersized to handle a full load of carries, too small to be a power back, and too slow to be a true change of pace back? There was a lot of Quizz love for the past couple of years, but it's...

Is there a significant difference between playing ROLB and LOLB in a 3-4? Like does the LOLB have to drop in coverage way more than the ROLB?

I think the argument in favor of the trade is that Julio is a phenomenal talent that we would not have gotten other wise. The Falcons easily could have drafted Torrey Smith who would be a slight downgrade had they kept the original pick. I would say Torrey Smith is probably around the 20th best...

So is the hope for Jones that he will eventually be a pass rushing 3-4 DE? I remember that he was a tweener last draft because he didn't have the strength for DT or the speed necessarily for DE in a 4-3 scheme. Are there any good 3-4 DE draft prospects or free agents that you think the Packers...

Interesting, so Neal can probably be brought back for close to vet minimum. He is the one that just converted from DE this year right and dropped 30 pounds? I think I'll try and keep him around in my mock for depth since he at least knows the Packers' scheme

Interesting, would you feel better about the D-line if the Packers signed a guy like Paul Soliai. He's a big 340 pound NT and wouldn't break the bank either, so it seems like a TT type of move. Jones, Soliai, and Daniels doesn't seem too bad. By the way, I had never heard of Daniels until...
