Bernstein, when healthy, would be like having another guard in the backfield. He has suprisingly good hands too, and loves to hurdle defenders when he has the ball.

In fact, several reports I've seen mention that at worst they are planning to play him in the dime defense--he might even make it on the nickel.

As far as the intelligence thing....I don't remember any of the coaches saying that Torrence Marshall was picking up things very well during the mini camps. The Packers Safety Coach has said that Collins seems to be picking things up quite well.

No pay for players on injured reserve? Isn't that a little harsh since it is the team's choice to put them on injured reserve?

Don't be surprised if you see Walker pull a MacKenzie and report to the Packers in time for the first game. Probably will come down with a mysterious injury too. I just hope that if that time comes that they pull a Tampa Bay on him.....suspend him and get him out of the locker room...
