I always agree with drafting and developing players way over signing big/semi-big names. TT seems to always look long-term which I've grown to appreciate more each year. I would rather us draft/develop a player and see how he ends up towards his contract years than sign a big name and pay him...
The only reason I would give him two more years is because the lack of supporting cast. They went 8-8 in 2010 haha and 11-5 in 07 which i completely forgot about.

That goes along the lines with David Carr. He was a promising QB that just played with ****** O-lines for his years as a starter which could have made him extremely gun-shy. It's sad to see players go out like that.

As much as i despise the bears it's sad to see him go. Such a good player and true to his team. I hope he retires as a bear and not sign to another team for a year and fizzle out.
