Only realistic stud was Nelson for toughing out an injury that is especially vulnerable to wide receivers.
Duds was the entire defense- no pressure up front, can't stick on receivers, can't intercept balls that need to be intercepted.
Another dud would be coaching- it absolutely crushed me...
Maybe I don't understand the rules like I thought I did. When the Atlanta player recovered the fumble at the one yard line in the field of play, he went on to intentionally without force roll back into the end zone and was for some reason awarded a touch back. Am I wrong in thinking that should...
Can someone explain to me why that fumble recovery by Atlanta was a touch back? He recovered it in the field of play and intentionally rolled into the end zone, shouldn't that be a safety? I thought the touch back rule was only if your momentum carries you into the end zone?
Rodgers looks pale in warmups, has that "recovering from a bug" look in his eyes which has me fairly concerned. Really hoping that illness they brushed off in the injury report doesn't impact his game.
As explosive as the Falcons are on offense, I still believe Dallas was a better overall team. The Cowboys sole mistake despite Elliott having a great game was not feeding Dez the ball early and often, a mistake I feel Atlanta will not be making with Julio.
Our secondary is not built to handle...
I don't know if Packers fans or Giants fans are more upset right now. As a Giants fan this game has gone your way in every facet, yet you are one touch down away from giving back the lead. On the other hand as a Packers fan its slowly starting to feel like another field goal given up could end...
We're fortunate this isn't a blow out right now, defense has looked suspect but has been making plays too to keep this surprisingly only a 3 point contest. Of course if Jordy is out then someone needs to step up big on offense.
Our defense is going to be key here, we need to win the field position battle in this game because the offense doesn't look like it can do anything from behind the 40.
Giants best cover guy is out and still we look terrible on offense. Rodgers looks scared and scrambling backwards in a game that looks like field position will be important.
To be fair, I've never thought much on destiny to begin with. When Aaron Rodgers threw that first hail mary to beat the lions I thought, man that was an awesome throw and catch, but on incredibly lucky circumstances given the odds. Didn't think much of it.
Then it's, what, 4th down and 20 from...
