I agree! With or without Rodgers you play to win with players you have. Now is the time to fix the problems and find out who really deserves a roster spot moving forward. That includes coaches!
I think TT has done a good job overall, but he's backed himself into a corner. Rodgers absence has exposed our team for what it is. If TT feels he has drafted good players then he has to address coaching. If nothing is wrong with coaching.......nuff said!
Rodgers will not agree to sit if he is cleared to play. With or without him the Packer organization needs to find out who wants to coach and who wants to play! If anybody has given up, they don't belong on roster!
Rodgers has proven his worth to the franchise. We are fortunate the injury wasn't career ending as it was with Sharpe, Collins and possibly Finley. The NFL needs to consider changing salary cap structure based on positions. We need to have a way of keeping and rewarding all players.
The D has given up an average of 440 yds. per game since Rodgers went down. This was against teams we were suppose to beat. I think the "inmates are running the asylum."
We stunk on offence, defence, and special teams. We have a running back coaching receivers, an o-line coach who was one of the worst lineman ever, and a D-coordinator who sits up in the booth with a blank look on his face and a head coach calling plays that don't fool anyone. Even Rodgers cant...
I admit, I wanted to jump on the fire Capers bandwagon a couple weeks ago. Now I'm not sure it's all his fault. I still think the problem is accountability. Start at the top with TT/MM, all coaches and players on both sides of the ball and start making people accountable for their paychecks!
Sadly, If you look back over the last couple years, our D has suffered through the same problems. It pains me to say... but we cant make the playoffs the way our D is playing and if we do, we wont go far unless they step it up and play all 4 quarters!
